Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, performing ultrasound studies, and ensuring accurate processing and handling of images.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily patient schedule for ultrasound studies
  • Perform ultrasound studies and ensure correct processing and handling of images
  • Assist in other areas of radiology, including front desk and reception
  • Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness
  • Assist clerical staff as needed
  • Attend seminars and in-services to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
  • Take call and standby as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved ultrasound course
  • RDMS or ARRT (Sonography) eligible; must be registered within 12 months of hire
  • AHA or equivalent BLS certification
  • Minimum two years hospital experience
  • Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in various age groups
