Diagnostic Sonographer

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasonographer to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for coordinating patient schedules, performing ultrasound studies, and ensuring accurate processing and handling of images.
Responsibilities- Coordinate daily patient schedule for ultrasound studies
- Perform ultrasound studies and ensure correct processing and handling of images
- Assist in other areas of radiology, including front desk and reception
- Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness
- Assist clerical staff as needed
- Attend seminars and in-services to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
- Take call and standby as needed
- Graduate from an approved ultrasound course
- RDMS or ARRT (Sonography) eligible; must be registered within 12 months of hire
- AHA or equivalent BLS certification
- Minimum two years hospital experience
- Must demonstrate and maintain current knowledge and skill in providing appropriate care for patients in various age groups
