Join Our Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide home health visits for our office located in Rutland, VT.

This position will focus on providing services for adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Rutland and Addison Counties and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in attaining or maintaining optimal physical well-being by providing treatment, tests, client education, and appropriate interventions as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Work under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of Vermont.
  • Graduation from a two-year college-level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
