Job Overview

The Electrician Project Manager will oversee and coordinate assigned construction projects from start to finish, ensuring schedules and budgets are followed. Estimated annual salary: $85,000 - $110,000.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in selecting and hiring employees for electrical projects.
  • Supervise projects to ensure work meets quality standards and adheres to specifications.

Primary Duties
  • Provide leadership in initial planning by collaborating with clients, architects, engineers, or other parties; develop detailed project descriptions and materials necessary to complete the project.
  • Schedule and coordinate projects in logical steps and budget time to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate regularly with Superintendents and Project Managers regarding needs, progress, and concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to the project budget and make adjustments as needed with PM partnership.
  • Plan, coordinate, organize, oversee, and direct activities regarding electrical projects of assigned structures, facilities, and systems.
  • Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite and that all safety codes are met on all projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, supervisory staff, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and electrical or design issues.
  • Manage and lead actions necessary due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies at work sites.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people, including owners, managers, designers, supervisors, tradespersons, and craft workers.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, work well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
  • Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings.
  • Ability to speak both English and Spanish preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be willing and able to dig trenches as needed on jobsites.
