Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the flow of code and its interactions with various components.
  • Analyze project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
  • Critically analyze and triage incidents and problems.
  • Provide clear and timely resolutions to customers.
  • Participate in regular status calls and quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain, test, and document legacy Java code base.
  • Design and develop interactive web applications, APIs, and algorithms based on AWS.
  • Optimize for performance and security.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience working in the IT industry.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong Java or Python programming skills.
  • Proficient in SQL and database management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing high-quality APIs.
  • Experience in providing production support, including troubleshooting and system maintenance.
  • Strong back-end experience.
  • Big Data experience is a plus (Hadoop/Spark).
  • Solid AWS experience - EC2, S3.
  • 1+ years of AWS experience, including ElasticSearch, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Athena, Kinesis, EMR.
  • Knowledge of API platforms.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
