U14 Alpine Head Coach

Stratton Mountain Winter Sports Club is seeking a highly skilled and experienced U14 Alpine Head Coach to join our team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch coaching to our U14 athletes, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive coaching plan for U14 athletes, focusing on skill development and competition preparation
• Collaborate with the Program Manager to create a cohesive coaching team and ensure effective communication with athletes, parents, and staff
• Provide expert coaching and guidance to athletes, emphasizing safety, sportsmanship, and teamwork
• Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to monitor athlete progress and adjust coaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports on athlete performance, progress, and coaching activities
• Participate in coaching staff meetings and contribute to the development of coaching policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in coaching, sports science, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years of coaching experience at the U14 level or higher; US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and staff
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to perform coaching duties, including standing, walking, and lifting
