Job Overview

LimnTech Scientific is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This role involves assembling and installing mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete systems based on detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical Assembly: Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete systems with precision and attention to detail. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Wiring and Electrical Assembly: Install and connect wiring harnesses, sensors, and electrical components. Test electrical connections to ensure functionality and troubleshoot basic electrical issues as needed.
  • Hydraulics: Assemble and connect hydraulic systems, including hoses, pumps, valves, and fittings. Test hydraulic components for proper operation, identifying and resolving any leaks or performance issues.
  • Quality Control: Inspect parts and assemblies during and after production to ensure compliance with quality standards. Identify and report defects or discrepancies to the Manufacturing Director.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including time, materials, and completed tasks. Provide feedback to improve assembly procedures and system designs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, wiring, or hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and/or instructions.
  • Familiarity with 3D models or CAD drawings (training provided).
