Job Overview:
As a Surgical Technologist specializing in GYN procedures, you will operate under the guidance of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician, executing a range of specialized technical tasks within the surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Manage and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Support the surgical team during operations by providing necessary assistance.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program OR
- Successful completion of a military surgical technology training program OR
- Prior employment as a surgical technologist in a healthcare facility before a specified date.
New graduates from accredited surgical technology programs must secure certification as a surgical technologist within 180 days post-graduation.
