About the Job:

This is a 13-week travel contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. You will work 36 hours per week, with a shift schedule that includes 12-hour days. Our client hospital values teamwork and collaboration, and we are looking for a therapist who can provide exceptional patient care while working effectively with the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate respiratory care services for individual patients">
  • Respond to medical emergencies throughout the facility and perform routine maintenance on equipment">
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have

">
  • ">
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist">
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association">
  • Active Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams">
  • Basic PC skills, including proficiency in Windows NT and computerized respiratory equipment">
