Job Overview

Grit Blast Operator

We are seeking a skilled Grit Blast Operator to join our team at Access Dubuque. As a Grit Blast Operator, you will be responsible for operating robotic grit blast equipment to prepare surfaces for painting.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate robotic grit blast equipment to prepare surfaces for painting
  • Use walk behind and sit down fork trucks to transport materials
  • Mask parts for paint after grit blasting

Requirements:

  • Experience with fork trucks preferred
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow standardized work and instructions
  • Ability to complete tasks within timelines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot environment
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Ability to follow safety and quality procedures

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 3pm-11:30pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 45 lbs.
