Diagnostic Imaging Role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to operate scanners and produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screen patients for any precautions or contradictions before the exam
  • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning them correctly for optimal image quality
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision, providing patient support and talking to them throughout the procedure
  • Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
  • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates and peers
  • Follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to safety regulations to protect patients and coworkers
  • Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintain an orderly and clean work area, promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers
  • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA guidelines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary
  • Assist with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable
