Pharmacy Intern

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Memorial Hospital of Gardena. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to perform a variety of technician and pharmacist duties while in training to become proficient in general pharmacy practices, procedures, and etiquette.

Responsibilities:

• Perform drug inventory and delivery services, as directed.
• Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist to gain hands-on experience in pharmacy operations.
• Develop skills in general pharmacy practices, procedures, and etiquette.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient and accurate medication management.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Current California Pharmacy Intern License in good standing.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern in a hospital setting preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
