Job Summary

We are seeking a Housekeeping Aide/Laundry Aide to provide cleaning services for a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
  • Maintain resident privacy at all times and knock before entering any resident room.
  • Post safety hazard signs when necessary to prevent environmental hazards to staff, residents, visitors, or others in the facility.
  • Wash and remake beds after discharge of residents.
  • Keep utility and storage rooms clean and organized.
  • Use personal protective equipment when at risk of exposure to blood or other potentially hazardous body fluids and follow facility policies and procedures.
