  • Prepare spaces for scheduled activities, including arranging furniture and supplies for events such as parties, exercise sessions, discussion groups, games, or movie nights.
  • Inform residents about schedules and events, encouraging participation in planned activities.
  • Facilitate groups, clubs, and events as directed by the Life Enrichment Director, aligned with programming and resident needs.
  • Conduct one-on-one visits with residents based on programming and individual preferences.
  • Operate audiovisual equipment and monitor resident engagement during programs.
  • Transport residents for recreational outings, adhering to local traffic and safety regulations.
  • Assist residents during outings, ensuring safety practices are followed.
  • Understand emergency procedures and assist residents as needed during drills.
  • Participate in organizational meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain consistent work hours.
  • Conduct daily operations in alignment with Brooke Grove Retirement Village's mission of "enhancing lives through engagement".

Qualifications for an Activities Coordinator:

  • Certification in Life Enrichment programs; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Current CPR certification preferred.
