POSITION SUMMARY:

The Unarmed Security Specialist is accountable for ensuring a secure and healthy atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves monitoring the environment to identify potential risks and hazards, reporting them accordingly, and delivering assistance and services in line with established protocols.

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Knowledge typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma.

2. Prior experience in security and/or law enforcement practices, generally obtained through 6 to 12 months of on-the-job training or relevant academic coursework in Administration of Justice.

3. A valid driver's license from the Commonwealth of Virginia.
