Position Summary:


The Morning Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering outstanding service to guests within the complimentary breakfast area of the hotel.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, attentive, and service-oriented manner.

2. Uphold a professional appearance and grooming standards, including wearing the designated uniform and name tag while on duty.

3. Welcome and seat guests promptly at appropriate tables.

4. Ensure cleanliness and presentation of menus and dining areas.

5. Clear, clean, and reset tables and other areas as per requests or management instructions.

6. Maintain organized, stocked, and tidy service areas, completing all side work at the end of each shift.

7. Address special requests from guests and provide suitable alternatives when necessary.

8. Communicate effectively with all departments regarding in-house VIP guests.

9. Assist in all aspects of food and beverage service, including dishwashing and restocking necessary items.

10. Demonstrate knowledge of room service standards and current menu offerings.

11. Perform cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift paperwork.

12. Execute opening and closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.

13. Provide information about the hotel, brand standards, local attractions, and activities.

14. Attend to additional duties or meetings as requested by management.

15. Prepare high-quality beverages, including specialty coffee and cocktails, as required.

Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in hospitality is a plus.

- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Must meet legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages and complete responsible serving training as required.

- Ability to obtain and provide a Food Handlers card as mandated by local regulations.

- Quick and accurate decision-making skills in evaluating options.

- Capacity to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

- Understanding of hospitality products and guest services.

- Professional communication skills when interacting with guests and team members.

- Positive attitude and a genuine desire to assist others.

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards.

- Proficiency in basic numerical operations and written communication.

- Ability to effectively manage interactions with customers and staff with patience and diplomacy.

- Willingness to learn new skills and support team members in a collaborative environment.
