We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Challenge Unlimited. As a Janitorial Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Job Summary

This is a part-time position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking bathrooms, as well as vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors and stairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, glass, mirrors, stall walls, and stainless steel
  • Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors and stairs
  • Empty trash and recyclable cans and replace liners as needed
  • Dust and clean office areas, desks, and furniture
  • Clean windowsills and windows
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Contribute to teamwork by training and helping co-workers
  • Drive to east and west bound rest stops as needed
Requirements
  • Candidates with a documented disability will be strongly considered
  • Pass federal and state background checks
  • Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license
  • Pass driving background checks
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Lifting and carrying up to 45 lbs
  • Pushing and pulling up to 45 lbs
