We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Florida International University's Counseling and Psychological Services. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct psychological services to university students, including individual and group counseling, clinical assessments, and crisis intervention.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct psychological services to university students, including individual and group counseling, clinical assessments, and crisis intervention.
- Conduct clinical assessments and formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide walk-in emergency assessments, crisis intervention, and intakes for students.
- Consult with family members and campus community constituents.
- Complete intake summaries, psychological assessments, emergency evaluations, progress notes, and termination summaries according to established policies and procedures.
- Eligible to provide clinical supervision and training to practicum students.
- Participate in departmental research and outreach initiatives.
- Doctorate from an APA-accredited clinical or counseling psychology program with an APA-accredited internship.
- Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida.
