About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Breast Surgeon to join our team at Wellstar Health System. As a key member of our Comprehensive Breast Health Program, you will provide exceptional patient care in the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform surgical procedures, including mastectomies, lumpectomies, excisional biopsies, and infusaport placement for chemotherapy.
- Document clinical notes in the electronic medical record.
- Provide education to residents and medical students.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary breast cancer STAT clinic.
Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible with Georgia Medical License.
- Experience in ultrasound, ultrasound biopsy, and stereo biopsy.
- Proficient in benign and malignant breast surgery, including oncoplasty.
