Job Summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and technical expertise in the performance of interventional radiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, embolization, and tumor ablation.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging and ensure accurate and precise imaging techniques.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and angiography systems.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.
  • Supervise and train students and new staff members in interventional radiology procedures and techniques.
Requirements
  • Current State Radiography License (RO) and ARRT-R certification.
  • Ability to obtain one of the following certifications within 18 months of hire: ARRT-VI, ARRT-CI, ARRT-RESUME, or RCIS.
  • One year of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in interventional radiology.
