Position Overview

At PeaceHealth, we envision a world where every individual receives safe and compassionate healthcare consistently. Our Anesthesia division at St. John Medical Center is expanding, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated 25-member team within a larger multi-specialty group.

Practice Highlights:

• Work Schedule: Enjoy a balanced 4-day work week (40 hours weekly). On-call duties are 1:7, including two weekends per quarter. Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient management.
• Engage in a variety of surgical specialties, including a robust orthopedics program, general and acute care surgery, urology, ENT, colorectal, GYN, cataracts, and occasional dental and endoscopy procedures. Offsite responsibilities include cath lab, MRI, and trauma response.
• We are launching an Acute Pain Program aimed at enhancing patient care.
• No involvement in cardiac, neurosurgery, or transplant cases. Obstetric cases are managed by CRNA staff.
• No supervision requirements for CRNAs or residents are present.
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia is essential, along with a commitment to teamwork.

• St. John Medical Center (SJMC) is a 346-bed Level III Trauma Center, providing a wide array of medical specialty services, including emergency care, trauma services, cardiology, behavioral health, orthopedic care, oncology, and women's health.
