Salary: Starting at $84,872 - $106,090 annually, based on experience.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Role Summary

The Lumber Yard Supervisor plays a pivotal role in aligning with the company's FACE values, mission, and vision to effectively lead the team and achieve yard objectives. This position emphasizes servant leadership and team management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing operational strategies to meet yard goals.
  • Engaging with the community and fostering self-improvement among team members.
  • Directly reporting to the Director of Operations.
  • Daily interaction with yard employees and customers.
  • Collaboration with local sales managers and corporate staff.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of management principles and production methodologies.
  • Familiarity with lumber and plywood purchasing practices.
  • Understanding of construction principles for both residential and commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
  • A valid Class C driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • The ability to identify various building materials and their applications.
