Job Summary

Integrity Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Hospitalist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading our hospitalist program, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Leadership: Provide medical direction and oversight to our hospitalist team, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
  • Patient Care: Provide comprehensive and coordinated care to our patients, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of complex medical conditions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our nursing and case management teams to ensure effective patient flow and optimal resource utilization.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the development of clinical protocols and the analysis of patient outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain excellent communication with our medical staff, nursing team, and hospital leadership to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Medical Licensure: Current, valid State of Maine medical license.
  • DEA Registration: Valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Clinical Expertise: Strong clinical skills and knowledge of hospital medicine.
