Parking Lot Lead Cleaner Job Description

At ABM, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parking Lot Lead Cleaner to join our team. As a key member of our facilities services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to a team of cleaners, ensuring that our parking lots are clean and secure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Relay communication between team members, clients, customers, and management, ensuring that all parties are informed and up-to-date.
  • Report performance issues to the Supervisor, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Assist with the training of cleaning team members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate work assignments, ensuring that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules, ensuring that the team is aware of their tasks and deadlines.
  • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned buildings, ensuring that they are clean and secure.
  • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property, ensuring that they are secure and accounted for.
  • Report work orders for maintenance, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Makes sure premises are secured at all times, ensuring that the property is safe and secure.
  • Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work.
  • Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly, ensuring that the team has what they need to perform their duties.
  • Complete order forms completely and accurately, ensuring that all necessary information is included.
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories, ensuring that the team has what they need to perform their duties.
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 1 yr leadership or supervisor experience required.
  • Must have Drivers License.
  • Must pass MVR and drug screen.
