About the Role

Kraus Maintenance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Certified EPA Lead Inspector to join our team as an Environmental Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting lead-based paint XRF testing, risk assessment, and final clearance in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lead-based paint XRF testing and risk assessment at various sites in the NY metro area
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and mitigate environmental hazards
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety protocols
  • Provide technical expertise and support to our team members

Requirements:

  • EPA Lead Inspector or EPA Lead Assessor Certification
  • Valid NY Driver's License
  • Radiation Safety/XRF operator certificate
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
