Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement processes for supplies, services, and equipment, utilizing the designated procurement system.
  • Coordinate special projects as requested by management, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Analyze equipment breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Oversee fleet services in collaboration with relevant state departments.
  • Engage with contractors to ensure service quality and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate the maintenance and procurement of information technology and communication systems.
  • Assist in budget preparation and provide insights for planning and special projects.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including driving for state business.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to construction and safety.
  • Strong understanding of management principles and procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to utilize basic software tools for reporting and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with supervisory experience in managing large-scale facilities operations.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Successful candidates must pass a background check, drug screening, and medical examination. Compliance with ongoing health assessments is mandatory.
