Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including taking patient histories, conducting examinations, ordering lab tests and x-rays as needed, and planning and executing treatment.
- Assess and manage patient risk, implementing appropriate precautions to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Supervise and coordinate the efforts of other physicians and physician extenders, ensuring timely and effective care for patients.
- Participate in regional after-hours call, providing emergency medical care as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
- Current DEA and Texas DPS controlled substances registration certificates.
