Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients, including taking patient histories, conducting examinations, ordering lab tests and x-rays as needed, and planning and executing treatment.
  • Assess and manage patient risk, implementing appropriate precautions to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate the efforts of other physicians and physician extenders, ensuring timely and effective care for patients.
  • Participate in regional after-hours call, providing emergency medical care as needed.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Current DEA and Texas DPS controlled substances registration certificates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
