The Registered Nurse in our Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) plays a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will utilize your expertise in neonatal care to deliver evidence-based practice and promote optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
  • Two years of experience in Level III NICU with expertise in infant resuscitation and stabilization.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
  • STABLE Program certification within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-partum/newborn experience in a family-centered unit.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • Certification in specialty area.

  • Experience with infant resuscitation and stabilization maintenance of invasive lines and ventilators.
  • RN - Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
  • CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support – AHA.
  • CT NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
  • STABLE Program certification is required within 6 months of hire into NICU.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-partum/newborn experience in a family-centered unit.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Certification in Specialty Area.
