About the Job

This position involves reviewing medical records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that patient information is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compiles and maintains patients' medical records to document treatment, physician orders, and nursing notes.
  • Enters data into computer systems, including demographic characteristics, history, and extent of disease.
  • Develops and maintains health record indexes and storage and retrieval systems.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Two years' experience working in long-term care.
  • Experience in computer operations required.
  • An Associate in Science degree in Medical Records preferred or certification as a medical coder preferred.
