Commodity Trader Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a seasoned Commodity Trader to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals across various industries. As a Commodity Trader, you will be responsible for building profitable new business, developing long-term relationships with suppliers, and adapting to the competitive landscape.

**Responsibilities**

* Prospect and build scalable business opportunities
* Develop and expand growth opportunities with suppliers
* Utilize economic and critical thinking skills to achieve sustainable success
* Provide excellent customer focus to result in client satisfaction
* Conduct all affairs lawfully and with integrity

**Requirements**

* Minimum 3 years experience in commodity trading and relationship building
* Ability to travel as business needs warrant
* Experience in multiple commodities, including metals, agriculture, crude oil, coal, shingle, hardwood, and lumber
