As a Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a culture of excellence. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and documenting observations accurately.
- Educating patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A current professional RN license issued by the state Board of Nursing for the State of employment.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Two (2) years' experience preferred in the area applied for. New grads eligible.
- In-depth knowledge of best practices in the area/specialty applied for.
- Adaptability to changing work schedules and patient needs.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, strong organizational skills, ability to follow verbal instructions, and PC (computer) skills.
- A capacity to learn, synthesize, make critical judgments, work independently, place patients and families first, and collaborate with the team members who are recognized leaders within healthcare.
Specific Certifications Required:
All RN's:
- BLS from AHA.
Med Surg, Telemetry, ICU, Surgery:
- ACLS from AHA
PACU:
- ACLS from AHA
- PALS from AHA
Emergency Department:
- ACLS from AHA
- PALS from AHA
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) or equivalent required (AB508 and SB1299)
Labor and Delivery:
- ACLS from AHA
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) preferred
- Stable preferred
Obstetrics (Post Partum):
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Pediatrics:
- PALS from AHA
