Job Summary

Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on engines, chassis, and body components
  • Inspect equipment and trucks for condition, operations, and fluid levels
  • Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to diagnose and repair issues
  • Repair hydraulic cylinders, brake systems, suspension systems, cooling systems, wheels, and tires
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
