As a leading full-service agricultural cooperative, Innovative Ag Services provides a comprehensive range of products and services tailored to meet the diverse needs of farmers. With a strong presence across multiple locations, we serve over 5,000 members in various markets including grain, agronomy, feed, energy, and building supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the promotion and sales of Innovative Ag Services' diverse product offerings.
- Assist in the distribution and management of feed products and services.
- Engage regularly with team members at the location to ensure effective communication.
- Participate in feed mill operations, including grinding, mixing, and packaging of feed and additives.
- Collaborate with the customer service representative at the feed mill as directed.
- Deliver packaged feed to clients or other company locations as required.
- Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives related to feed products.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
Preferred Academic Background: Candidates pursuing a degree in Animal Science or a related discipline.
Desired Skills and Attributes:
- Proficiency in computer applications, including spreadsheets and livestock management software.
- Demonstrated initiative, dedication, and commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Physical capability to lift weights up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment Considerations:
- Exposure to agricultural settings, including seasonal weather and outdoor conditions.
- Personal protective equipment may be necessary for certain tasks.
