We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Director to join our team at Longevity Health Plan. As an Activities Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients living in long-term care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate Interactive Music Groups: Develop and lead interactive music groups that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being for our patients.
- Build Relationships and Engage Members: Meet with patients one-on-one to build relationships, assist with ordering health plan-provided supplies, and engage them in conversation.
- Develop and Maintain Relationships with Care Facility Staff: Collaborate with activities and clinical staff to ensure seamless delivery of services and promote a positive patient experience.
- Travel to Assigned Facilities: Travel to assigned facilities on a scheduled basis to provide services and support to our patients.
- Work from Home Opportunity: Enjoy the flexibility of working from home and having a flexible schedule.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Positive Personality and Excellent Communication Skills: A positive personality, upbeat attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- Desire to Support Vulnerable Populations: A genuine desire to support and care for vulnerable populations is a must.
- Ability to Facilitate Group Music Sessions: The ability to facilitate group music sessions using provided materials is required.
- Auto Liability Insurance: Auto liability insurance with minimum limits of $100,000/$300,000 for bodily injury and $100,000 for property damage with combined single limit of $300,000 is required.
