The successful candidate will work as part of a lab team to generate a correlation between primary and secondary analytical methods for determining hydroxyl number. Key responsibilities include determining hydroxyl number for 25+ samples, generating NIR reports, developing a correlation model, and validating the method using control samples.
Qualifications include a current undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent, with 2-3 years of college chemistry lab experience. Familiarity with basic wet chemistry and analytical techniques is required, as well as the ability to work independently in a lab environment. Self-motivation and effective problem-solving skills are essential, along with ability to produce quality technical reports and documents.
