We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Security Engineer Boot to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Software Security Sensors and Effectors Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating real-time security-oriented solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply system security principles to the design and implementation of hardened signal processing software applications.
  • Develop software applications using C and C++ languages on a variety of computing platforms.
  • Understand real-time software design and the performance implications associated with specific system security implementations.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a team environment developing and integrating software applications.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
  • S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, integrating, or fielding real-time security-oriented solutions on DoD programs.
  • Experience using security-relevant tools and devices for security auditing, network security, host/server security, communication security, or policy management.
  • Knowledge of modern computer architectures and hardware technologies including ARM and/or x86 architectures, PCIe, GPIO, I2C, SATA, Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs).
