Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary:

R+L Carriers is seeking a skilled Route Operations Manager to oversee dock and dispatch operations at our Matteson, IL Service Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage driver and freight handler teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate dock operations and driver/freight handler scheduling to meet customer demands.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality freight handling procedures.
• Dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner to meet customer expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience with a focus on logistics and transportation.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software.
• Knowledge of quality freight handling procedures and safety regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in LTL leadership roles.
• Knowledge of the local area and surrounding regions.
