Job Overview

Position: Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential speech and language services to students in an educational environment. This role focuses on supporting K-12 students in their communication development and ensuring their academic success.

Key Duties:

  • Perform thorough speech and language assessments for students across grades K-12.
  • Design and execute personalized treatment strategies tailored to individual student needs.
  • Deliver speech therapy in both one-on-one and group formats.
  • Track and document student progress meticulously.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes.
  • Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insights into students' speech and language requirements.
  • Remain informed about the latest advancements and methodologies in speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current California license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred; however, Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in working with K-12 populations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in maintaining detailed records and adhering to timelines.
  • Commitment to fostering student potential and success.
