Job Description

The Network Security Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing the security of our voice and data networks in the DoE Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS). This role requires a strong background in cybersecurity and leadership experience in managing teams of network security administrators.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing network security systems for LAN/WAN, telecommunications, and voice systems. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is mandatory, and Cisco and/or CISSP certifications are desirable.

The Network Security Systems Manager will lead a team of network security administrators to maintain and securely operate LAN, WAN, telecommunications, and voice systems. They will also conduct cybersecurity vulnerability scanning using approved tools such as ACAS scan tool, SIEM system, data security analytics, and HBSS.

The successful candidate will ensure the Government's compliance with RMF and NIST standards, and maintain server and workstation STIG compliance on the unclassified and classified networks.

Responsibilities
