Oportunidad Laboral: Patólogo del Habla y Lenguaje Escolar (SLP)

Descripción General: Buscamos un Patólogo del Habla y Lenguaje (SLP) comprometido y entusiasta para unirse a nuestro equipo escolar. Este puesto implica proporcionar terapia del habla y lenguaje, realizar evaluaciones y desarrollar programas educativos individualizados (IEPs) para los estudiantes. Se prefiere experiencia en un entorno escolar, pero se aceptan postulaciones de Becarios Clínicos (CF).

Responsabilidades Clave:

  • Realizar evaluaciones detalladas del habla y lenguaje.
  • Desarrollar e implementar planes de tratamiento individualizados y IEPs.
  • Colaborar con maestros, padres y personal escolar para apoyar las necesidades de comunicación de los estudiantes.
  • Proporcionar sesiones de terapia, tanto individuales como grupales.
  • Mantener documentación precisa y oportuna de los servicios.
  • Participar en reuniones de IEP y contribuir a la fijación de objetivos educativos para los estudiantes.

Calificaciones:

  • Título de maestría en Patología del Habla y Lenguaje de un programa acreditado.
  • Licencia estatal válida o elegibilidad para la licencia estatal como SLP.
  • Certificado de Competencia Clínica (CCC-SLP) de ASHA preferido, pero no requerido para postulantes CF.
  • Experiencia previa en un entorno escolar es altamente deseable.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación, organización y colaboración.
