Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patient populations for therapy needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
  • Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires.
  • Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
  • Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting.
  • Provide information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Supervise and delegate the care provided by physical therapy assistants according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards.
Requirements
  • Credentials: Essential - Licensed Physical Therapist - State, Basic Life Support.
  • Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required. Preferred: Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Physical Therapist. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum Experience: None required.
