As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identify their needs, and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Delivery of Care: Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Education and Support: Provide patient education, support, and guidance to promote health and wellness.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: One year of medical-surgical experience preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas, or immediate eligibility. Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required prior to working first shift in the Emergency Department.
This role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching. Occasional sitting, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and twisting may also be required. Visual and hearing acuity are necessary, as well as color vision for perceiving changes in patients' skin color and colors of medications and solutions.
