Program Security Officer Level 3

Keenbee Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Program Security Officer Level 3 to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a Program Security Officer Level 3, you will be responsible for ensuring the security posture of our projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Create, update, and provide feedback on policies and procedures for the use of secure facilities, as required by the PSO and mission partner security.
- Prepare and deliver oral presentations, briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with other staff functions and activities to secure cooperation and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned programs.
- Utilize Defense Information Security System (DISS) and Joint Access Database Environment (JADE) to verify accesses, create program access requests, and determine program access eligibility as a Special Access Program Personnel Security Officer (SPO).
- Provide guidance on classification marking, accountability, control, storage, safeguarding, downgrading, declassifying, and destruction procedures for classified materials.
- Initiate inquiries related to security incidents and coordinate with government security specialists on recommended course of action. Develop reports on incidents and staff accordingly.
- Ensure compliance of physical security program for facility assigned; support security compliance team with required documentation such as annual self-inspections, Fixed Facility Checklists, and other procedures.
- Understand and exercise the Special Access Program Nomination Process (SAPNP) for personnel.
- Assist managers with policies, instructions, procedures, control systems, and methods for safeguarding and use; personnel access controls; need-to-know criteria; physical storage and control; and transmitting, transferring, reproducing, emergency protection, and removal of classified information.
- MUST HAVE A TS/SCI CLEARANCE TO QUALIFY.
- 3-5 years demonstrated/practical hands-on experience as a PERSEC Specialist or closely related position.
- Experience administering policies, practices, and metrics that reflect the security posture of the project.
- Experience with DISS and the use of sound security practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all personnel and security matters.
- Two years' minimum experience working in special access programs and/or secret compartmentalized information environment is highly desired.
$100,000 - $118,000 DOE
