The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and be able to provide insightful legal advice on a wide range of matters, including wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, and employee rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a full caseload, working closely with senior attorneys and partners, and directly with clients.
- Provide legal advice on employment law matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current employment laws and regulations.
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and client relationship management.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed attorney in good standing with at least 2 years of experience in employment law.
- Proven experience representing clients in employment law cases, preferably on the plaintiff side.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
