Your Role

You will provide cyber security technical leadership for new products as well as changes to existing products with a focus on Inspire's cloud systems and digital products. Your responsibilities will include leading threat modeling, security reviews, and assessments, as well as mentoring software and security engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of similar experience, including cloud and mobile product development experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of system security principles, including threat modeling and risk management processes
  • Broad knowledge of a wide range of cloud system and mobile apps and a deep understanding of the inherent security risks associated with these technologies
  • Experience implementing security mitigations using cryptographically strong security primitives such as AES and ECC
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced level degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Medical device experience
  • Cloud platform (AWS, Google, Microsoft) experience
  • C# development experience for desktop and Azure platforms
  • iOS and Android development experience
  • Azure PaaS deployment experience
