We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at HCRC (Health Care Resource Centers) in Portland and Lewiston, ME. As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services to adults struggling with opioid use disorder.
Key Responsibilities:- Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment
- Conduct thorough history and physical exams
- Document patient information and orders in the EMR
- Monitor patient dosages and consult on high-risk patients
- Perform annual medication reviews
- Board certification in Addiction Medicine
- At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine and 6 months of Primary Care experience
- Medicaid/Medicare provider status
- Licensure in the state of Maine
