As a Medical Director, you will play a critical role in providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support, and medical services to adults struggling with opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Admit patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment
  • Conduct thorough history and physical exams
  • Document patient information and orders in the EMR
  • Monitor patient dosages and consult on high-risk patients
  • Perform annual medication reviews
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Addiction Medicine
  • At least 6 months of experience in Addiction Medicine and 6 months of Primary Care experience
  • Medicaid/Medicare provider status
  • Licensure in the state of Maine
