Job Title: Senior Oracle EBS Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle EBS Developer to join our team at Verdant Infotech Solutions. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Oracle software, specifically in the eBusiness suite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of managing the application lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Identify and implement the appropriate software architecture based on requirements and enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Record and maintain software architecture documents using use cases and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Lead the review process for software architecture documents and contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements.
  • Integrate internal and external product design into a cohesive user experience and work with UX/UI to improve and refine product visual design and consistency.
  • Create, maintain, and present technical documentation to different audiences and levels.
  • Perform resource, technical, and risk assessments and work with other development, architecture, and product development teams.
  • Work with 3rd party vendors on technical design, specifications, development, testing, and deployment to ensure the product meets requirements.
  • Assist in the timely completion of assigned development projects and prepare required documentation, including project plans, software programs, and user documentation.
  • Assist in the estimation of personnel requirements, cost, and time for development projects.
Requirements:
  • Seven (7) years' software development experience.
  • Five (5) years Oracle eBusiness Suite development experience with Financials and/or Procurement modules.
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL experience with Oracle Databases.
  • Experience creating packaged procedures, generating log and output files, and calling/ referencing standard Oracle packages and functionality.
  • Strong Oracle BI Publisher Experience, including BI Publisher Template Builder for Word, development of RTF and XLS Templates, development of XML Data Templates, merge and bursting report experience.
  • Experience developing and supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite versions 12.1 or 12.2.
  • Experience with Oracle Financials modules, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payments, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, iExpenses, Sub-Ledger Accounting, Tax, Approvals Management, and Enterprise Command Centers (12.2 only) for the above modules.
  • Experience with Oracle Procurement modules, including Purchasing and iProcurement.
  • Strong experience with Korn or Bash Shell scripting in a Unix/Linux environment and calling database packages from scripts.
  • Oracle OAFramework (OAF) development experience a plus.
  • Experience supporting production EBS applications is preferred.
  • Experience with My Oracle Support site and support team for issue resolution.
  • Experience with Oracle Workflow, Workflow and Notification administration, Workflow Builder, Approvals Management Engine is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports in 10g or 11g a plus.

  • Understanding of UML and ability to create and maintain project work products, including use cases, data flow charts, process flow diagrams, software requirements document, functional specifications document, etc.

  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, when required.
  • Understanding of SDLC automation concepts, such as continuous integration.
  • Ability to implement strong unit and service-level tests.
