Evening Truss Fabricator

Department: Hines - Truss

Location: Kirkland, IL

Compensation: Starting pay $18/hour - NIGHT SHIFT

About Us: Hines Supply, a Division of US LBM, is actively seeking Truss Fabricators for our Kirkland, IL facility.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:30 PM to Midnight, allowing for a well-deserved weekend.
  • Assemble pre-cut wooden components.
  • Transport pre-cut materials to designated work areas and align them according to supervisor instructions and blueprint specifications.
  • Check dimensions of pre-cut materials to ensure assembly accuracy.
  • Employ tools such as hammers, saws, and pneumatic nail and staple guns to join components.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: No prior experience required; we are willing to train suitable candidates. Construction experience is a plus.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour shifts.
  • Heavy Lifting: Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently and performing bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to acquire new skills.
  • Team Collaboration: A cooperative approach to teamwork.
  • Work Ethic: A commitment to excellence in attendance and performance.
