Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster exceptional patient experiences by confirming identities, reviewing imaging requests, and addressing special instructions.
  • Ensure seamless communication and cooperation through clear explanations of procedures and reassuring presence.
  • Conduct high-quality mammographic imaging studies, adhering to established standards and procedures for optimal results.
  • Maintain equipment efficiency through regular preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management.
  • Guarantee safe working environments by adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Promote quality control and production metrics through thorough documentation and charting.
  • Enhance professional knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, staying updated on industry publications, and participating in professional networks.
Requirements:
  • A current BLS certification.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and adherence to requirements for ARRT and/or CRT registry.
  • Current Mammographic Radiologic Technology certification.
  • Proficiency in operating sophisticated computer systems and ability to assist with DEXA exams.
  • Demonstrated interest in scientific and technical advancements.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and effectively follow detailed instructions.
Experience:
  • At least two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
  • Experience with ACR inspections and guidelines.

The salary range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00 per hour.

This role requires flexibility in scheduling with potential shifts ranging from 4 hours to 8 hours, including weekends.

We are based in Los Angeles, CA 90004 and prefer applicants who can commute to this location.
