Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled laborer to join our team at Equix Energy Services. As a pipeline construction specialist, you will be responsible for preparing construction sites, following safety standards, and performing general labor work.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare construction sites as directed by the Foreman/Superintendent.
  • Follow and adhere to all safety standards when using equipment, driving company vehicles, and working on the site.
  • Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment at worksite, and company yard.
  • Keep worksite clean, organized and free from unnecessary hazards.
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleanup of assigned vehicles and all equipment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.
  • Satisfactory result of pre-employment background screening if applicable.
  • Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record is preferred.
  • Traveling out of town to work on remote job sites when needed or directed by manager.

Work Environment:

  • Sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions.
  • Work will include prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching, feeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Working safely requires quick/accurate hands-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
