Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will play a vital role in supporting fellow imaging professionals as required. This position requires strict adherence to established departmental and organizational protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage effectively with patients and healthcare providers by coordinating and prioritizing imaging procedures throughout the workday to ensure exceptional patient care and continuity.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to rotate across various departments and clinics to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Assist Radiologists or other medical professionals during invasive and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing equipment to accurately identify anatomical locations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked prior to procedures and compliant with Infection Control standards.
  • Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to meet the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of each patient.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality by performing all duties in a manner that protects sensitive information, disclosing it only when necessary for job functions.
Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate commitment to the core values of CHRISTUS Health Care. Required qualifications include:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program or an equivalent recognized program.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
  • Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is mandatory (Temporary permit is acceptable for new graduates).
  • Availability for Per Diem shifts as needed.
